The Greater Englewood area is made up of the communities of Rotonda West, South Gulf Cove, Gulf Cove, East Englewood, Grove City, Placida, Palm Island and Cape Haze. Englewood is situated on the Cape Haze Peninsula and is located approximately half way between Sarasota to our north and Fort Myers to our south. The area is often referred to as the last underdeveloped area on the Gulf Coast. Our Real Estate prices have historically always been lower than the prices of our neighbors to the north or south. Englewood has a true small town, old Florida feel. The pristine beaches have very little commercial development.
